Over the years Mid Valley Press has won numerous First Place and Awards of Excellence in the Printing Industries of Virginia (PIVA) Best in Print competition. This program is the only printing competition in the United States that uses professional technical judges from the Graphic Arts Technical Foundation (GATF). Entries are judged against technical standards of excellence for printing, and competition is open to all printers in the state. In each category, the panel of judges is looking for excellence in prepress, printing and binding. Skill of the printer and degree of perfection determines the winner.

The Mid Valley Press Design Award competition offers recognition to outstanding design for print. The award-winning designs are chosen from hundreds of unique pieces submitted by clients and represent the finest in regional print design. The awards are based on clarity, effectiveness of design and uniqueness. The pieces range from business cards to full-color books and everything in between.
Winners receive recognition for their award-winning pieces through ads and articles published by local and regional newspapers and create positive publicity for your company or organization.
